About Mac.apk
Android emulators are heavy, and most of them boot a whole phone just to run one app. Mac.apk takes another route: it implements the Android app environment directly on macOS, so each app opens as an ordinary Mac process with its own Dock icon and window.
The source is on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0, with a separate commercial license for companies, and the release is signed and notarized. The author calls it alpha: out of 71 apps tested, 58 are fully playable, 10 partly work and 3 do not run yet. You need Apple Silicon and macOS 26.4 or newer, and Intel Macs are not supported.
